Butterfly Valve – This valve is used in industrial environments to regulate gases and liquids, ideal for low-pressure systems. It is affordable and acts quickly. To withstand direct contact with corrosive materials, the valve is appropriately coated. It can be actuated electrically or hydraulically, in smaller sizes with a lever and larger sizes with a handwheel and inlet housing.
Absolute Shutoff Valve – A valve used to completely shut off a system that requires repairs, maintenance, and adaptation to new products. Its purpose is to ensure process safety.
Ball Valve – The main feature of this valve model is its hollow, spherical obturator, designed to allow fluid flow. To function properly, it must be aligned with the pipeline and remain fully open. It is ideal for shut-off and shut-off operations that require immediate response. It can withstand high pressure and is perfect for flow regulation operations. It is available in full- or reduced-port versions and complies with BS 5351 technical specifications and BS 6755/API testing.
Gate Valve – This is the most commonly used valve model in industrial environments, especially in manual shut-off systems. When opened, it fully releases the flow, ensuring perfect, uninterrupted flow and smoothness. It's ideal for use in systems where opening and closing processes aren't constant or routine, as it requires slower handling.
Globe Valve – This valve model is ideal for systems where opening and closing are constant. Furthermore, the globe valve allows for flow control, with flow and pressure regulation. It is suitable for controlling liquids, gases, water, oil, and steam, both at high and low pressure. Wear is minimal. The sudden change in fluid direction results in high pressure loss.
Check Valve – This valve model is designed to prevent flow reversal. It operates quickly and automatically. Flow can be directed in one direction, preventing backflow in the opposite direction. It is a flow blocking valve, not a control valve. Its operating cycle uses the force of the flow itself to operate. It is perfect for steam, air, coal gas, and oil gas systems. It operates normally at high and low temperatures.
Needle Valve – This valve model uses metal needles. These needles are made of metal alloys, such as stainless steel and bronze. Used in industry, they control flow with absolute precision.
