This actuator model works identically to the spring and diaphragm actuator, the only difference between them being the replacement of the diaphragm with a piston.

PISTON ACTUATOR WITH LINEAR DISPLACEMENT: These are piston actuators that are used to operate valves with linear displacement. Ex: Globe Valve.

PISTON ACTUATOR WITH ROTARY DISPLACEMENT: These are piston actuators that are used to operate rotary valves. Ex: Butterfly Valve.
